Just kidding. Seems like it might the ticket for skinny water. Would you put a shield of some sort around the prop?

lol, this isnt actually my build, I googled it for reference, and yes they do sell the prop guards for it too.
That should get the job done for sure . Little more work on those boats and some rod holders should be killer fish catching machine .

I have a 6.5hp predator (modified level 1 to ~8 hp) on a 15'4" gheenoe. It will push two men and a full load of decoys at 13 mph. I've used it two seasons without issues. I purchased my kit from mud skipper.
